Product overview |

|
The RFIDS™ name stands for Radio Frequency IDentification & Sensing. RFIDS™ is designed to be an efficient technology platform for active RFID and wireless sensor applications with an inherent scalability from low cost active tags to advanced sensor tags. Furthermore, RFIDS™ is designed for ultra low power consumption, high security and robust performance even in metal-rich environments. An open tag design offers flexibility in tag configuration from very low cost, small size to advanced sensing and logging.
Free2move Scientific's RFIDS™ makes it easy to build complete active RFID and wireless sensor systems.
Contrary to tags that use MAC or IP address as identifiers, the 40 bit unique identifier of RFIDS™ is factory programmed and untamperable. Along with encryption and multiple passwords for tag configuration and data access, this makes RFIDS™ highly secure.
By default, standard RFIDS™ products make use of the 2.4 GHz ISM band. The advantage of 2.4 GHz is primarily consistent regulation throughout the world. Custom implementations of RFIDS™ in other frequencies such as 433 MHz and 868/916 MHz are also possible.
All RFIDS™ tags have configurable radio modes, TTF and RTF, configurable radio activation intervals (a.k.a. blink rates) and configurable output power. |
